By using AlphaBrief AI (Chrome extension, web app at alphabrief.captionpair.xyz, and API at brief.captionpair.xyz), you agree to these terms.

1. Service description

AlphaBrief provides AI-assisted news summarization and optional scheduled email briefs for informational purposes. The service is designed for active traders and market readers who want to save time scanning headlines.

2. Not investment advice

AlphaBrief does not provide investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. All summaries and briefs are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. You are solely responsible for your trading and investment decisions.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
• Free and Pro tiers have different feature limits as described in the product.
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through Creem (Merchant of Record). Pricing, renewal, refunds, and cancellations are subject to Creem’s checkout terms and our product description at purchase time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our API.
• Submit unlawful content or attempt to extract data from paywalled sources beyond normal reading.
• Resell or redistribute brief content as a competing service without permission.
• Misrepresent AI output as guaranteed or professional financial advice.

6. Third-party content

Briefs aggregate publicly available headlines from sources you configure. We do not claim ownership of third-party news content. Source availability may change without notice.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaptionPair / AlphaBrief shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including trading losses based on brief or summary content.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of data is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may modify these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
